Hi Friends,
I am going to tell you that How you can change the Windows XP Installation Setup Background Look because this is my personal experience on Windows XP.
If u can change the Windows XP Installation Setup Background Look you will need 4 things.
1) Windows XP CD or DVD
2) Resource Tuner or Resource Hacker
3) WinRAR
4) The image you want to replace
Now let’s start:
Insert your Windows XP CD into your CD ROM or DVD ROM Drive copy the Windows XP files or folders in your Windows XP folder or any other folder.
Now search for the WINNTBBU.DLL file in i386 Folder. If you do not find it then search for WINNTBBU.DL_
When you find this file copy & paste it in your desktop or any other drive or folder.
Now in Resource Tuner or Resource Hacker open that WINNTBBU.DLL file.
Now in the left hand side panel go to Bitmap >> 103 >> 1033
(Note: Make sure that your image should be in .bmp format)
Double click or Right click on 1033 and replace it with your image now save the file & replace WINNTBBU.DLL in your Windows XP i386 folder with this file after that Make a Bootable CD or Create the ISO image through nLite, CDBurner XP or any other software & install in any of these softwares like Virtual PC, VMware Workstation, Virtual Box and Parallel Workstation for testing.
And from now when you will install Windows your new image will be displayed as background. Your Windows XP setup background will be change if u can change the total look of Windows XP setup background look like colors, fonts u can change through Editing Billboard software
